What is the virtual festival of industries?
The latest winter edition of the SUN Virtual Festival of Industries gives your students the opportunity to take on exciting challenges set by people working directly within the Creative & Digital and Engineering & Manufacturing industries. The challenges are designed to showcase your students’ creativity, give an insight into the skills required and share valuable tips from the people who know best.
How to get involved
STEP 1 – Watch the employer videos, choose a challenge and use the example lesson plans to turn them into a lesson, half day event, or even set as homework. The choice is yours
STEP 2 – Record who has taken part on your SPoC Activity Report and let us know how you get on by sharing your feedback with your SUN contact or to sun@soton.ac.uk. Please also ask students to feedback their views using our online survey.

What resources will i need?
The challenges have been designed so that you will only need things that you can find in the classroom such as pens, pencils, scissors, paper etc. You should not need to purchase anything extra to take part.
