SUN Progression Mentor at Sparsholt College Group
What is your role at the college & how can you support the students?
As the SUN progression mentor I support students who are looking to progress to higher education. Most often, this involves supporting students with UCAS and University applications.
What has been your career journey & what did you study?
At FE level I studied History, English Literature and Economics. I then went on to study at History at University and then completed a masters degree in educational psychology. Whilst at University I really valued the opportunity to engage with a subject area I found fascinating in more detail.
What is a fun fact about you?
My favourite hobbies outside of college generally revolve around sport, with playing and coaching cricket taking up the majority of my free time in the summer.
