Our Partners

Southern Universities Network
The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is a partnership of higher education providers in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. The SUN provides outreach activities for schools and colleges as part of Uni Connect – an Office for Students (OfS)-funded project. The SUN has been tasked with increasing HE participation in over 70 wards, working with 104 schools and all further education (FE) colleges in the region. As directed in OfS guidance, work will be focused on young people in Years 9 – 13 and their ‘key influencers’.
University of Portsmouth
The purpose of the University of Portsmouth’s Recruitment and Outreach Team is to act as a link between schools and colleges and the University. Our strategy is to deliver a progression package from Year 5 to Year 13, enabling potential students to make informed decisions about whether university is right for them. We offer a range of free activities that aim to interest and inform students, as well as help develop useful skills for education.
AECC University College
AECC University College’s Access and Participation team sets out to offer outreach activities to reach students from all backgrounds and demonstrate the opportunities higher education (HE) can offer. We offer a sustained programme from Year 5 through to Year 13 to raise the aspirations of those from under-represented groups, for example neighbourhoods where fewer than average people attend university, or those on lower incomes. We set out to address the obstacles of going to university.
Arts University Bournemouth
All those with the potential to benefit from higher education, no matter their background, deserve the opportunity to do so. At Arts University Bournemouth, we’re committed to making that happen. We value our strong relationships with schools, colleges, and the community in delivering activity to widen access to opportunities in creative education and employment.
University of Winchester
The Access and Outreach team at The University of Winchester coordinates a programme of outreach for target primary and secondary schools. The Access and Outreach team also continues to work in partnership with a number of organisations, including special schools, local authorities and charities, to develop tailor-made activities, talks and visits for practitioners and young people from other WP target groups.
Solent University
Solent University believes that every child with the ability to succeed should be able to take advantage of the benefits of Higher Education. Our outreach programme offers your students a rich calendar of events and opportunities designed to engage and enthuse, such as school visits by our staff and student ambassadors, talks about the university experience, on campus visits, and subject specific mini-masterclasses.
University of Southampton
The Outreach Team works, in partnership, with a selection of schools (both primary and secondary) and students through our Learn with US programme. Through this comprehensive programme, we run on campus events as well as deliver directly in the schools through a variety of activities to encourage prospective students to consider higher education in general including workshops, taster lectures, campus tours and project work.
Bournemouth University
We offer a wide range of initiatives designed to support young people’s progression to Higher Education. Activities and events include HE Experience Days, Careers Advisers & Teachers Conference, BU Summer Breaks.
