A Supported Internship is a work-based study programme for people aged 16-24 with an Education, Health and Care plan. Supported Internships aim to help students to take the first steps from education to the world of work. They usually last for 1 year, including a 6 month work placement to help develop transferable skills and confidence in the workplace.
