This short talk explores apprenticeships in depth, focusing on Intermediate and Advanced apprenticeships for Years 9-11. The talk explains what an apprenticeship is, how they are structured, what the different levels of apprenticeships mean, and looks at the application process for apprenticeships. It also aims to dispel myths around apprenticeships by looking at the wide variety of industries which offer apprenticeships.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?

20 minutes delivery followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.

Can be delivered to a large number of students.

Our SUN short talks are delivered virtually by one of our Project Facilitators.

The short talk will be live-streamed to one or multiple screens and delivered by SUN staff, but will require school staff member to facilitate.

All workshops are free, can be integrated into you school day and are delivered by certified SUN facilitators, who are all Enhanced DBS checked.
