This training introduces Boingboing’s Academic Resilience Approach (ARA). Here, resilience is described as a person ‘doing better than might be expected in a context of adversity’. The ARA is based on research, evidence, and practice. This training focuses on the theory behind the approach. Attendees also gain practical tips on how the ARA can be embedded in schools, colleges, and educational settings to ensure all students have a greater chance of developing resilience against life’s adversity. This CPD session has been certified by The CPD Certification Service as conforming to continuing professional development principles. If you attend this training session, you can receive a personalised CPD certificate, which you can keep for your professional development records. If you attend, we will share your name, organisation, and email address with the CPD Certification Service in order for your certificate to be sent. Please contact if you do not wish us to do so.

  • Educational practitioners in schools and colleges, including teachers, SLT, pastoral staff, careers staff and admin staff
