What will the session cover?

This session will discuss what commonly effects YP who attend counselling, what signs to be aware of, and how you can help. The session will also share some information about Relate and the services offered, as well as other referral routes.

Who is it for?

Any staff members or practitioners working with young people aged 11 and upwards.

Dee Holmes

Clinical Services Manager at Relate

Dee Holmes has worked for Relate since 1997, starting as a Counsellor, then a Supervisor. Dee is trained in Couple, Family, Children, and Young Person’s counselling. She has delivered counselling in Relate centres in Hampshire and worked in schools and colleges with children from 5 to 18. She qualified as a trainer in 2010 and has delivered training to outside organisations and internally across Relate.

Her current role as a Clinical Services Manager involves offering clinical support across the whole of Relate, being involved in development of services, policy, and practice. She also enjoys doing media work for Relate and her role as the Safeguarding Lead for Relate nationally.
