This CPD is aimed at professionals working in post-16 settings, such as Sixth Forms or FE Colleges, across Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. While pre-16 school staff are welcome to attend, the information will be most relevant to those supporting students who are about to apply or have already applied to higher education. It will also be suitable for those working in higher education in areas such as Widening Participation.

This online interactive session will aim to:
  • Explore the potential barriers and challenges that care- experienced students may face on their HE journey
  • Highlight best practice in supporting young people before, during, and as they leave university
