This CPD is suitable for all Education and Youth Practitioners who are working with students over the age of 16. This includes youth workers, local authorities, teachers, tutors, admissions staff outreach staff, Uni Connect staff and third party organisations who support young people applying to university.
This CPD has been created in collaboration with the Uni Connect Estranged and Kinship Students Partnership and in consultation with the charity Stand Alone. Stand Alone as a charity has sadly now discontinued due to funding, however their research and resources have been an invaluable contribution to universities developing support of Estranged Students, as well as the development of this CPD course.
This free accredited online training session developed by the SUN, is designed to provide information so that professionals working with students are able to better support them. This CPD has achieved certified accreditation status by The CPD Certification Service and can therefore count towards any CPD hours you’re working towards.
