CV Writing and Interview Skills

This workshop is designed for KS4 students starting to think about entering the world of work and preparing for job or college interviews. We will start off with some CV myth busting, learn how to avoid common mistakes and then dive into creating our own CV with lots of tips and tricks along the way. The session will also cover interview preparation, making a great first impression and how to answer common questions using the STAR model.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?

50 minutes delivery followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.

1 class (up to 30 students)

Our interactive presentations aim to inform young people about higher education opportunities and support them to make well-informed decisions about their future education.

All workshops are free, can be integrated into you school day and are delivered by certified SUN facilitators, who are all Enhanced DBS checked.
