What is your role at the college & how can you support the students?
I’m a qualified and registered Careers Advisor, so can support students with anything related to careers.
What has been your career journey & what did you study?
I studied A levels, then did a degree in English language and literature at university. I loved university: delving deeper into a subject I love, the experience I gained from taking part in student societies and I made friends for life. It gave me so much confidence. I was the first person on both sides of my family to go to university, so it was quite overwhelming trying to navigate the application, choosing universities/subjects and moving away. I’m so glad I did it, but wish I’d had the support of a SUN Progression Mentor!
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m absolutely obsessed with chickens! I have a small flock at home and volunteer to help rehome them.
