Money Explorer is a free online platform offering a wealth of impartial information about budgeting for Higher Education. It helps students to develop crucial money management skills, which are valuable for everyone but particularly relevant to those considering university. As they navigate the Money Explorer website, students can earn online trophies relating to specific areas of budgeting, such as accommodation, food, work, and student finance. This develops their understanding of what they will need to budget for whilst in Higher Education, while highlighting the financial support available to them in an engaging and rewarding way.

The Discover Money Explorer resource provides an interactive learning tool, helping students to develop an awareness of what budgeting is and why it is important as a student, through engaging with practical activities to expand their understanding of what they may need to budget for in the future. Students will engage in videos and activities at their own pace to think about managing their money in the real world, highlighting valuable life skills relating to money management.
