A full day programme delivered in-school, this workshop is perfect for drop-down curriculum days. Centred around the creation of an outdoor festival, students will form an events team and will explore a range of professional disciplines including creative design, finance, logistics, marketing and more. This work culminates in the delivery of a pitch, challenging students to work as a team whilst also giving the opportunity to lean into their strengths and flex their public speaking and sales abilities.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?

This workshop requires a whole school day, the day will be split into 5 sections which will be 50 minutes each.

SUGGESTED COHORT SIZE:

1 class (up to 30 students)

HOW WILL THEY BE DELIVERED?

Our SUN workshops are delivered in person by one of our Project Facilitators.

What will the session cover?

Students are provided with a short project brief, and are then supported to work in teams through the key aspects of running a business; research, design, marketing, and financial planning. The day will end with a pitch from each group where students have the opportunity to present their ideas.

All workshops are free, can be integrated into you school day and are delivered by certified SUN facilitators, who are all Enhanced DBS checked.
