CPD · Pathways to Level 4 and Beyond

Online CPD opportunity for organisations working with young people

An accredited interactive online CPD training series for youth practitioners, covering the different educational pathways available to young people aged 16+.

The Pathways to Level 4 and Beyond online CPD series is designed to give professionals the information and knowledge to support discussions with young people, about their education and future choices. The series comprises the following modules:

Module 1 | An Overview of Level 3 and 4 Pathways – introducing the array of different options available to young people aged 16+

Module 2 | The Apprenticeship Pathway – covering the different levels and types available, how to find apprenticeships, the application process and more

Module 3 | The University Pathway – covering the application process, admissions, student finance and support available

Where possible, we would encourage you to engage in all three modules which work to form the complete Pathways to Level 4 and Beyond series. By completing all three modules, you will be awarded with a CPD accredited certificate which may count towards any CPD training hours that you are working towards.

Practitioners working with young people

It is expected that professionals who engage in this workshop will be able to better support students who are considering their next steps for post 16 (Level 3) and post 18 (Level 4) study. Therefore, benefitting those working with students from Year 9 through to Year 13.

Bespoke Online Sessions

If you would like to arrange a bespoke session for your team, we can work with you to arrange a suitable programme based on the timeframe and needs of your organisation. We can offer both online and in-person bespoke programmes. (Please note, you will be required to provide a venue should you want in-person delivery).

In-person sessions must include delivery of all three modules in one session. Online sessions can all be delivered on the same day or in a series dependent on your preferences. We will contact you to agree the design, dates and times. We will then provide information for your team to access the relevant workshop and accompanying resources. Should there be other topics that you would like us to cover, do let us know.

We require a minimum of 10 participants to be able to run bespoke sessions successfully. For individuals, we would recommend engaging in our online series detailed above.
