Level 4 Pathways CPD

Exploring education options for young people

Online CPD Opportunity for Organisations working
with Young People

Who is it for?

This workshop series is suited to community organisations and social enterprise staff working with Young People. It is expected that you won’t necessarily be working in an educational capacity but that having knowledge of educational opportunities that are open to young people could benefit you in your general supporting role.

The Workshop Series

In response to the current working situation, we have adapted our Level 3 and 4 Pathways to be available as a series of shorter online workshops. The series is designed to give professionals the information and knowledge they need to support young people in discussions on education and their future choices. It is designed to enable you to provide advice and signposting should these topics arise in your discussions with Young People.

The series is formed by the following modules lasting approximately 1 hour each:

Though not mandatory, we would encourage you where possible to engage in all the modules. See below for  information on our latest open series. If you would like a bespoke session designed for your specific team, see below.

Next available online series

Workshop 3: The University Pathway

Please note, these sessions have a certain number of spaces. Once these are filled, you will be placed on a waiting list and informed of the next available space on this, or future, series. If you sign up and are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registrations and inform us at sun@soton.ac.uk

Bespoke Online Sessions

If you would like to arrange a bespoke session for your specific team, we would be more than happy to work with your organisation to do so. We will work with you to arrange a suitable online programme based on the time-frame and needs of your individual organisation.

These can be completed on the same day or delivered in a series. We will contact you to agree the design, dates, times and online platform location. We will then provide information for your team to access the relevant workshop and accompanying resources. Should there be other topics that you would like us to cover, we can incorporate into sessions.

We would require a minimum of 10 and maximum of 24 participants to be able to run bespoke sessions successfully. For individuals, we would recommend engaging in our online series detailed above.
