This event is suitable for all Education and Youth Practitioners who are working with students over the age of 16. This includes youth workers, local authorities, teachers, tutors, admissions staff, outreach staff, Uni Connect staff, and third-party organisations who support young people applying to university.
This accredited online interactive session will help you to:

- Understand the term estranged and who estranged students are
- Gain an awareness of the barriers and disruption estranged students can face in education
- Develop an awareness of how to support estranged students in college and with progressing into university
During the session, you will be signposted to Stand Alone, UCAS, Student Finance England, and further organisations and resources to support your work with estranged students.
