Educational practitioners in schools and colleges including teaching staff, careers advisers, SLT, pastoral support staff and governors.
what will it cover?
Attendees will gain a better understanding of the barriers to digital inclusion faced by schools, colleges and the students they serve. The session will provide an overview of key statistics around the digital divide both pre and post-COVID. It will give schools and colleges tangible actions to tackle the digital gap in order to enable all students to access digital technology and skills.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading experts, both nationally and locally, who will provide recommendations and insights regarding the digital divide. Training will include audience interaction and there will be plenty of opportunities for questions.
There is no cost to delegates but there are only 30 places available therefore, each school or college interested in attending will be allocated one place per institution.
This training will be delivered by UpSkill Digital who are dedicated to minimising the global digital skills gap.
